The application of radiation has been expanded in various areas including the medical care, nuclear power and general industrial fields. Chiyoda Technol lives up to customers' needs in terms of both their "application" and "protection".

In the medical care field, the application covers therapeutic and diagnostic fields.
For example, we support all and any needs including design and construction work for RI facilities, and the environmental and personal radiation dosage measurement, while dealing with treatment systems which allow intra-vascular irradiation. In the nuclear power field, we provide equipments and supplies that are necessary to protect people working in the atomic power stations, as well as the safety control systems.

In addition, our activities cover contract research on product modification aiming for the improvement of working environments.
Likewise, in the industrial field, we provide "know-how on safety management" covering many aspects including support for facilities that use radiation sources, safety control, and education.
More importantly, Chiyoda Technol is the only private enterprise that has been authorized by the Government in the radiation dosimetry calibration.This could be achieved only by Chiyoda Technol which offers radiation dosimetry services in which "high reliability is presented in practical forms".
In addition, we started the manufacture and distribution of radiation sources in April 2000, following the transfer of operation from the Government. With such background, we will positively promote the supply of radiation sources while focusing on the research for their new applications.

We believe no other enterprise but Chiyoda Technol is capable of developing such comprehensive and powerful support covering both aspects of the application and protection of radiation.
