	The "application" and the "protection'" of radiation are two sides of the same coin, and it would not be beneficial to support one more than the other. Active processes exist here that are consistent with systematic policy. Chiyoda Technol, which is the most experienced enterprise in Japan, has established the processes, thus providing customers with comprehensive services for the best possible applications and protection through such systematic processes. First, in the planning stage of customers to use RI, we draw up the optimal application plan including joint research, if necessary. Then, in the subsequent stage, we proceed to the design and construction work after giving our professional judgement on building conditions, conforming to various regulations and management conditions which are difficult for ordinary construction companies to deal with. Thereafter, we install various equipments, and at the same time, we deal with the setting up of a network to drive the information sharing forward. We also undertake the complicated purchasing of radiation sources on behalf of our customers, and we perform the dosimetry calibration at our Oarai Laboratory. Also, while providing the measurement of radiation dosage in individuals and/or environment, we execute the thorough maintenance and inspection services. If a facility needs to be decommissioned, we fully support whole the stages of necessary procedures including the disposal of radiation sources and the examination of contamination as well as the preparation of legal notifications on behalf of our customers.
