	The use of full-face masks and half masks of a conventional type poses some problems such as the user feeling uncomfortable because of the too tightly fitting belt for securing the face mask to the face, the user being prevented from wearing glasses, and other physical inconveniences. The “powered respirator ”we have developed has offer comfortable solutions to these problems. Originally put into commercial use 18 years ago, the product has incorporates carefully engineered improvements, including the downsizing of the air supply unit, to demonstrate our continuous commitment to satisfy every need of the customer.

Within the radiation controlled areas of one of our customers, our supply accounts for almost 70% of the respiratory protective equipment
they use, demonstrating great customer's satisfaction.
The steps we have taken over many years with this product have resulted in “trust of the customer” in Chiyoda Technol.

	So far, anoraks made of vinyl have been used for work handling water that includes radioactive materials. For such vinyl anoraks, however, too much effort was made to provide perfect waterproofing capability, which consequently caused the problem that they do not pass the workers' sweat, and that long hours of operation lead to heavy burdens on their body. Today, based on the comments of front line persons that some work is subject to a light level of water splashing, and some work requires long hours to be accomplished, we have developed epoch-making “waterproof and moisture permeable protective clothing ”which will transpire only sweat while retaining the waterproofing capability on the outer surface.
